It was decided that the design would look for ways to incorporate BIPV technology, but the technology would not drive the classroom building design. The concept design work (35% design) was completed in October 1998. In November 1998, Solar Design Associates submitted their design report, recommending locations where BIPV products could be substituted for traditional standing seem metal roofing and vision glass.
